Making a purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online shop and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we will need in order to be able to complete the order. We accept credit and debit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction cost into your own currency. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. 

Shipping And Handling

Our standard UK P&P is £3.95. Delivery is FREE on orders over £60. 

Standard UK delivery times are 10 to 14 working days for personal orders (although this is usually much quicker). For school orders please allow 10 days for delivery. Orders are sent on a tracked courier service and can be tracked via the "My Account" function on the web site. 

For all orders please allow a maximum of 28 days for delivery on standard delivery.

Credit Card Security

When your order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on our web site.

Outside of these hours you will be able to leave a message and we will contact you once we reopen.

Our 0844 numbers cost 7p per minute plus your phone company's access charge. Other networks may charge differently and mobile networks usually charge more.

Privacy Policy

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping basket, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies. 

Returns Policy

Unless the item is a made to order product as indicated on the product page, we offer a full money back guarantee if goods are returned within 14 days of receipt. We make a deduction from the reimbursement for the loss in value of any good supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you, defined as going beyond the sort of handling that might be reasonably allowed in a shop. The description of all products is clear on the box and there should be no need to remove protective packaging, such as cellophane wraps, which are in place to ensure products we supply to children are not subjected to tampering and hence removal will mean products cannot safely be resold and will result in no monies being refunded. If in doubt, please call our Customer Services team. We regret that unless the goods are faulty or not as described, we are unable to refund postage and packaging costs. Please note that returns are entirely the customer's responsibility. We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

We strongly suggest that you insure against loss. We regret that we cannot be held responsible for returned goods that are damaged en route, or that do not arrive back. Postage will only be refunded in the case of damaged or faulty goods. Please note that any errors or omissions from an order must be reported within seven days of receipt of the items. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334. Payment on our web shop can be made by credit or debit card or via Pay Pal. You may also telephone to place an order or send your order together with a cheque or postal order made payable to the 'The Happy Puzzle Company Ltd'.
